Senior Project Manager
Senior Project Management opportunity in a leading offensive cybersecurity organisation.
The Senior Project Manager role focuses on navigating complex client projects and leading cross-functional teams to deliver results on time, within scope, and within budget.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that often span multiple departments or business units. The role also provides oversight, guidance, and escalation support for other project managers to ensure organisational goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Organisation:
Leading multiple, complex projects in accordance with requirements and within budget
Chairing meetings with Senior Leadership and Stakeholders across the business
Working across multiple strategic teams within the company to align resources and understand requirements
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, delegate tasks, and manage performance to achieve milestones.
Forecasting, Reporting and Revenue:
Define success metrics aligned to the business strategy
Identify, analyse, and mitigate risks; resolve escalated issues and recover struggling projects when needed
Be responsible for the recognition of revenue and forecasting
Manage stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors, through clear communication and regular status reporting
Customer Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining Customer Relationships across multiple Customers
Identifying potential growth and work areas across current projects and customers
Acting as an escalation point of contact
Line Management:
Mentoring the junior members of the PMO
Ensuring OKRs and KPIs are met for the PMO
Contribute to improving project management standards, methods, and tools across the organisation
Requirements:
Previous Project Management experience is essential, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be commutable to the Basingstoke office and would be required to be on site a minimum of 3 days per week.
The successful candidate will need to already hold DV Security Clearance.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, including with senior executives.
Advanced planning, organisation, and time management, with high attention to detail.
Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple initiatives.
